For particle size control, the VRM utilizes a hydraulic roller-pressing system to apply a powerful pressure of 50-200 kN/cm². Combined with a dynamic classifier with precisely adjustable speed, it can crush various ores to the ideal reaction size of 80-200 μm. This refined particle size control achieves a specific surface area of 3500-5000 cm²/g, enhancing subsequent chemical reactivity.
Daily maintenance requires a focus on real-time monitoring of equipment operating status. Operators should record roller bearing temperature, monitor hydraulic system pressure fluctuations, and collect data using vibration sensors during each shift. Lubrication management is a core component of daily operations. Roller bearings require weekly refilling with high-temperature grease, and reducer gear oil status must be checked monthly. The classifier rotor blades should also be regularly cleaned to prevent buildup that affects separation efficiency.
