Compound cone crusher, a core crushing equipment used in modern mining, building materials, and metallurgy industries, demonstrates exceptional performance in crushing medium- and high-hardness materials thanks to its unique laminated crushing principle and intelligent control technology. Jiangsu Haijian Co., Ltd. provides professional equipment for cement production, industrial solid waste incineration, and mining and metallurgy applications. We are a professional manufacturer and company specializing in compound cone crushers. Our equipment achieves multiple goals: particle size control, reduced energy consumption, and excellent product shape through optimized crushing chamber geometry and hydraulic adjustment systems.
The compound cone crusher utilizes the principle of laminated crushing (inter-particle crushing), achieving material crushing through the multi-dimensional forces acting between the moving cone and the fixed cone:
Compression crushing: Driven by an eccentric sleeve, the moving cone performs a oscillating motion, forming a progressive crushing chamber with the fixed cone. This continuous compression causes the material to crack and break.
Shear crushing: An optimized crushing chamber curve (such as a parabolic shape) subjects the material to shear forces during movement, reducing over-crushing.
Inter-particle lamination: Material particles collide and break, increasing energy efficiency by over 30%.
The hydraulic system performs key functions:
Dynamic adjustment of the discharge opening: A hydraulic motor drives an adjustment ring, allowing stepless adjustment of the discharge size during operation (typically within a range of 3-60mm).
Overload protection: When uncrushable material enters the chamber, the hydraulic cylinder automatically relieves pressure, protecting the main unit from damage.
Compound cone crushers play a core role in multiple industries:
Metallurgy: Crushing metal ores such as iron ore and copper ore, providing uniform feed for beneficiation (particle size qualification rate ≥ 95%).
Building materials: Processing raw materials such as limestone and granite to produce high-quality aggregate (needle-flake content <10%).
Road construction: Producing asphalt concrete aggregate that meets GB/T 14685 standards.
Chemical industry: Crushing chemical raw materials such as phosphate rock and silica to meet reaction particle size requirements.
